Hello World!

Beginnings are always nice to have and hopefully this is a good one. Took me a bit but I finally got it working and as always I underestimated how long it would take for me to finish this project, but at least it was finished even though it felt like such a soft finish line crossing as there are so many features I still want to add (I am even thinking of new features while writing this post!), but that will have to come over time now, as the nature of software makes it amendable.

An alternate thought is that this is my home on the internet and I am just trying to improve and seeing what it can become and what it could be which reminds me of a quote from the movie Kingdom of Heaven:

"What man is a man who does not make the world better."

The 'world' at least being one person's website in this case. Still a lot to polish though, but getting to a point where I am happy with the site. At least it's the first site which I have gotten up with pure 'code' tools with no site builder involved. Makes me happy on how flexible the Python programming language actually is. Python might not excel at everything but it does everything which kind of suits my personality where I enjoy a lot of different projects.

The next hurdle becomes creating enough content for the site. This gives me appreciation on why Social Media sites such as YouTube or Instagram have to appease their content creators in order to retain the rest of the visitors.

Hopefully I can keep these posts up in the future and put out something interesting.
